Toledo Speedway

There are regular races and competitions every month, though the best events are the “Fastest Short Track Show in World” in June 17th, and “Night of Destruction” in May 27th and Spetember 2nd.

The Toledo Speedway is outside of the downtown area, though it's only about 10 minutes drive so it isn’t far to get to.

Wildwood Preserve Metropark

Wildwood Metropark is no doubt, one of the best places to visit in Toledo Ohio if you want to getaway from the city crowds.

The Metropark boasts many nice trails for easy walks with the family and you can enjoy guided tours with park’s ranger. Perhaps, the best thing about Metropark is that you can do a free tour of Wildwood Manor House, which is a stunning 1930’s mansion.

Wildwood Preserve Metropark is just 10 minutes drive west of the downtown area, and it’s also not far from the Toledo Botanical Garden and the Stranahan Arboretum.

The Toledo Botanical Garden is truly beautiful and it’s another peaceful and tranquil place you can visit for quite strolls.

You can do wildlife spotting, feed the fish in the pond, have a picnic, and the best thing is that you won’t have to pay a penny since it’s free to get in.

Stranahan Theater

The Stranahan Theater is without a doubt, one of the most popular places to visit in Toledo Ohio to catch a concert and musical shows. The theatre is located in Glendale-Heatherdowns neighborhood (about 20 minutes drive from downtown Toledo) near the Old Towne Shopping Center.

The Stranahan Theater isn't, of course, the only one in Toledo; there is also the Valentine Theater and Toledo Repertoire Theater right in the heart of downtown Toledo.

Imagination Station
